Mathematics: Measurement (length/height) 1

  People, animals and objects have different lengths / height . Some are short and some are long or tall . Long and tall are similar in meaning. When something is long it is sometimes considered tall. For example a pencil can be called long and it can also be called tall. Further examples: girls you are short and your parents are tall. However your younger sister or brother is short while you are tall. So lengths can change in different situations. 1. Look at the pictures below which shows long/ tall and short. 2.   Activity One 1.  Students will view a video about the “ ad ” word family. 2.
