General Science: Body Parts of Different Animals

Activity 1: Discussion:


First, take a look at yourself in a mirror. 

Can you name and touch the body parts you see?  
(For example: head, eyes, nose, mouth, hands, legs, feet)


 Animals have body parts too. Some of their body parts are different from others.

Next, watch the video "The different parts of animals' body".  👇            




                                                     
Question: 

👉Which animal in the video has a body part different from you? 

👉Can you name that animal and its special body part? (For example: a goat with horns, a monkey with a tail)


Activity 2: Oral -Worksheet Activity    



     

👉Name the body parts of animals on the worksheet.
Example of body parts: wings, tail, beak, scales, paw, shell, fin, ears

Activity 3: 

👉Draw and colour an animal with wings.

Language: Reading "AD" Family

  Activity One 1.  Students will view a video about the “ ad ” word family. 2. Students with guidance from the video will blend the sound of letter “ a ” and letter “ d ” to make the proper sound of “ ad. ” 3.
